Bringing global audiences high-quality original games has always been NetEase Games’ goal. And to achieve this goal, we are currently expanding our gaming business by collaborating with various game industry veterans around the world to create high-quality next-gen games together eventually. Within this vision, Japan, as one of the global gaming meccas, has been a significant area for us. In order to better promote the establishment of the game business in Japan, we are looking for a principal executive recruitment expert, who will be fully responsible for the introduction of the game executive positions in Japan.

As the lead executive recruitment expert in Japan, you will be:

The lead of executive recruitment in Japan, an executive talent consultant from NetEase Games, dealing with all kinds of top and seniors talents in the Japanese game industry, maintaining a good relationship with them while building NetEase Games employer reputation and spreading NetEase Games production concept. Actively promote their introduction to drive the establishment of NetEase Games Japanese game development and distribution organization.

Specifically, you have the following three responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for talent researching, sourcing, and relationship-building for the executives from Japanese game development companies;

  2. Use effective talent maintenance tools to establish long-term relationships with targeted talents and actively drive cooperation between candidates and the company;

  3. Responsible for debriefing local Japanese game executive talent insights report with the company’s upper-level management, to help department leaders better understand the top game talent market in Japan.

您既是日本的高招负责人,来自网易游戏的高管人才咨询专家,和日本游戏行业的各类顶尖人才和前辈打交道,在建立网易游戏雇主口碑和传播网易游戏制作理念的同时,维系好和他们的关系,并积极推动他们的引进,推动网易游戏日本游戏研发和发行组织的建立。

另注意:这是一个独立专家岗。

具体来说,您有以下三个工作:

  1. 日本游戏厂商高管人才研究、寻访与关系建立;

  2. 运用有效的人才维护手段,与目标人才建立长期关系,并积极推动候选人与公司的合作;

  3. 与公司管理层做好日本本土游戏高管人才洞察汇报,帮助业务领导者更好地了解日本顶尖游戏人才市场;

职位要求

Combined with the description above, it can be comprehended that the completion of the job requires a certain amount of experience in interpersonal communication, game business communication, talent consulting, and also keen market insight. Therefore, you are expected to have the following conditions and experience:

  1. More than 3 years of work experience in game business or game executive recruitment in Japan;

  2. Have studied, lived or currently living in Japan for more than 5 years;

  3. At least 2 years of experience working with and coordinating with company’s management executives in the recruitment process;

  4. Intend to stay in Japan and be willing to work with top game talents on a long-term basis;

  5. Fluent in spoken, written English will be a plus.
