About this role:
Technical support engineers for engines are committed to providing high-quality support for users. Here, you will participate in game development. You will also provide users with trouble-shooting, requirements communication, and training. Bridging end-users and engine development experts, you will deliver effective technical solutions to achieve desired results. This position will expose you to the technology of in-house game engine. As a technical support engineer you will be responsible for:
1.Provide technical support for games project teams on-site or remotely; be responsible for delivering the engine to project teams.
2.Provide training for project teams on the use of in-house game engines, provide consultation and troubleshoot services. Resolve users’ complaints, follow up and provide feedback in a timely.
3.Responsible for communicating with the project about new requirements, conducting analysis to determine requirements, and collaborating with engine experts to promote the development of requirements lifecycle.
4.Responsible for the preparation and multilingual translation of relevant technical documents for the in-house engine, and maintain the engine community.
5.Assist engine development experts in implementing various features, and producing technical solutions for use in game projects.
6.Localization of technical documentation.
1.Bachelor’s Degree, minimum of 1 year in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience. (Game industry is preferred)
2.Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Good written skills.
3.Have a user-oriented mentality and be enthusiastic about problem-solving. Have the ability to identify. technical or workflow issues in the work environment and make timely improvements.
4.Good at collecting and organizing information, summarizing requirements from users, and record keeping.
1.Passion for video games, passion for the game industry.
2.Experience with mobile game development or testing.
3.Experience with content-driven game engines game engines(e.g. Unreal, Unity, Frostbite),or proprietary engines is a plus.
4.Experience with computer graphics(development, testing).
5.Proficiency with Python and/or C++.
